The core of what Michael does, indoors and out. Bathrooms, kitchens, living areas, hallways, entries, feature walls, fireplaces and hearths. Big tiles are unforgiving, so the surface gets checked and made flat first and the tiles go down on levelling clips to keep every edge flush.

Grout Rejuvenation

Tiles that are perfectly sound can still look tired, because it is almost always the grout that has gone, not the tile. Rejuvenating the joints brings a floor or a wall back without pulling anything up.

A shower that is letting water past is usually a small job caught late. Perished silicone, a failed joint at the hob, a cracked corner. Michael reseals and repairs rather than talking you into a new bathroom you do not need.

Natural stone is porous, so it takes up whatever lands on it. Sealing gives it a fighting chance against spills, dirt and weather, and keeps the colour looking like it did the week it went down.

Do I buy the tiles or do you?

Most customers choose and order their own, which keeps the cost transparent. Talk to Michael first though. Choosing the right tile for the space is critical, and tile size and layout also change how much you need to allow for cuts and breakages.

Can you tile over an existing floor?

Sometimes, depending on what is under there and how flat and sound it is. Michael will tell you honestly whether it is worth tiling over or whether lifting the old surface will give a better result.

How long will my bathroom take?

It depends on the size, the tile and how much prep the room needs, and whether other trades are working around you. You will get a realistic time frame with your quote, not an optimistic one.

Do you do small repair jobs?

Yes. No job is too small. Cracked and chipped tiles, a shower reseal, perished silicone or a grout refresh are all worth a call, and you will not be pushed towards a bigger job than you need.
